Thanksgiving under the weather

28 Nov

It’s been an interesting Thanksgiving. My folks came to visit. Susie and Pearl had a terrible cold. So, the energy in the house was mixed. I helped with the Thanksgiving meal/ preparation. Susie made pumpkin pie and dressing (southern stuffing in a casserole dish). We picked up a free range organic turkey from Gog Magog Hills farm.

For company, friends of my folks from London joined along with American friends of ours in Cambridge. It was quite a full house and Susie said some choice words at the beginning of dinner. She even lead us in Amazing Grace. It was quite a moving experience. I’m so proud of her.
