Last night, Susie made tacos with chicken, roasted peppers, onions, and other traditional items. I cracked open a bottle of salsa I brought back from Austin. And boy did Gabriel and I enjoy it. It was way spicy, but it had a sweet and smoky side flavor. It was Cocina Mestiza’s Salsa Habanera Yucatan Style. One caveat to keep in mind, indulging in too much is painful the next day.
