Clean check-up

20 Feb

Susie and I returned this evening from her cancer check-up at the Royal Marsden Hospital. The short story is her MRI scans looked good (i.e. no changes).  So, Susie’s footloose and fancy for another year. On a side note, today was not void of interesting events:

  • Gabriel and Pearl stayed home while we were in London.  Gabriel was in charge and we came home to an undamaged house and two healthy kiddos.  Gabriel did have his friend Tumi over (with both sets of parental permission).
  • Susie and I went for lunch and dinner on our own (without me doing work and no kids – what a shocker, write it down in the calendar).
  • We went to update Susie’s Health Insurance and the hospital accounting folks had a tough time because there were two Sue Wilsons in the system and both were at the hospital today for scans and consultations (what are the odds?).

So all-in-all, today was good and will be associated with some humorous memories.
